(  So much better today!!  Got down a whole protein shake, plenty of fluids, and not on any pain meds!   I'm still a little draggy, but I'm also milkin' in a little, since my husband's being a sweet sweet Super Dad.  :\) I'm thinking a couple of days and I'll feel pretty good.    I'm not hungry, but I will say that I do miss food a little.   I know that'll take some getting used to. ...

(  My favorite way is to blend it with water and ice in my Magic Bullet blender thingy.  It's pretty creamy.   If I don't blend it with ice, and just use water, I use a tiny bit less water than the 8 oz it says so it tastes better.   Like all shakes, it's MUCH better cold. Good luck! Kelly ,)

I love Jay Robb.  I use the Whey protein and mix it with 1% milk.  I buy mine from the Vitamin Store and it is about $34.00.  This is the only protein powder I can stand.  Good Luck with your new sleeve.

( Thanks, I use Oryx - Goat whey...it's expensive too.  I will have my surgery on 8/14/09 any pointers.  ,)

( That is the only protein I've tried that I absolutely could not stand, I actually took one sip and tossed it down the drain. It amazes me how different people's tastes are. Too bad because I liked that it was sweetened with Stevia. ,)
