This is really terrible news . I never met Jacki in person but here on the forum she's always a very wise person. I suppose her recovery will take a long time but I certainly hope everything will be ok at the end. A long road to go I think . . . I heard from from one of Jacki's friends in Iowa. She asked me to recommend some MK songs (she is not too familiar with them) that she could put on a disk and bring to Jacki. I had a better idea. How about people burning their own favorites MK tunes on a disk and sending them to her? Her friend suggested sending the disks to Jacki's home address listed below. Her mail is already being ...

terrible thing. I hope she recovers quickly. what a great idea about the CD Emily!! We could also include other artists we like that she might not know and grow to love them too!! I don't think it's a good idea to have her home address on a public forum though, I'd be more comfortable if you could remove it and send it by mail to members who ask?

It sounds like she has the best care from her Doctor's and great support from her friends. How thoughtful and kind of you to do this Emily. I am sure the cd wil be help her along tremendously. I will be sending a song that helped me in my healing from a close to fatal car accident.One's whole life changes in that split second. Get well soon Jaci so you can play your instruments again!

I have made a selection of my favourite tracks by DS/MK and my other favourite artist, Mr John Hiatt. I've thrown in a couple of others too. Next stage: burning the 3 (!) CDs and posting them!
