I'm curious if there are other SBC owners out there that also are JRiver Media Center users. Tom gave me a demo of this system (Tom and I live across the lake from each other) and it's a really nice bit of work. Sat in front of his enormo-projection screen and queued up Casino Royale with the SBC. Woot! Tom, from watching the screencasts, looks like you are on the 7.2 branch because I see ...

I also use jrmc. I use it to manage my music, video and photo collection. For playback I mainly use it to play video and photo content in our ht room. For audio not yet but I did experiment to control our sb's with it using mc2slim. But unfortunately it was not stable enough else I would use it instead of moose to control them with my nokia n800 through remote desktop. With the new dropdown ...

Is it posible that the YARS plugin isn't working in the latest JRMC release? In JRMC under services and plugin under yars, there's only a message stating the following :YARS only works for MC 12.0.213 and up I've only just begon working with JRMC (and squeezeplay for that mather). squeezeplay does show me the "take me to the river" item and i've also adjusted the ip address in the .lua ...

Hi all, I am a JR MC12 user, and likely duet user in the near future. I've been looking at this but couldn't figure exactly how this works, so I'd be very gratefull if anyone could answer these questions: 1-If I understood correctly, this is an applet to be installed on the duet remote itself, right? 2-It controls the MC12 software directly, with no need to access squeezecenter? (...

The J River applet has not been kept up to date. Unfortunatly, the chances of me keeping it up to date are fairly slim given my other time commitments. If enough people show interest, there's a slim chance I might be swayed As it stood, 1), 2), and 4) are true, but I don't believe that 3) you can buy the controller without the receiver.

Hi Tom, thank you for the reply. Yes, you can purchase the duet remote separatelly. I already have bit-perfect output from JR MC 12 to an external DAC and my PC is close to the hifi rig (and silent), so I'm only looking for the remote control functionality of squeezebox. The library is perfectly managed via JR MC. I understand we shouldn't expect support from you, but when you say it ...
