Good day of going to garage sales and the Flea Market on Saturday… No name forged in USA die handle with a ¼-20 die. Below the die are 2 Barcalo open end wrenches and 2 Barcalo combos. On the top right is a Williams open end, below that are (4) Craftsman open end wrenches. 2 are stamped V, 2 are newer. The Craftsman combo wrench is a 9mm open end with a 10mm box end. ...

Updated the question above.... Does that 9mm x 10mm combination wrench have a specific purpose? I get the double open or the double box ends but on a combination wrench it doesn't make alot of sense to me. Don

The little 9x10 MM is an ignition wrench. My old SAE sized ones are made the same way, open end one size, box end the next bigger, then repeated, half a step bigger, so in metric you would have another wrench that was 10 open by 11 box, 11 open by 12 box, etc. I think it is so you can have a wrench for each end of a fastener that has the same size for both the the head and the nut.
