Thread: Is twitter a good way of marketing?

When you post your URL on twitter watch your live stats; about 30 people visit the URL instantly. I realise this is mainly bots but that's not a bad thing.

Twitter is good for business and it can get you results if used properly. First, you need to build a good community where its your targeted audience who are following you instead of your friends/colleagues. For that you need to tweet what your targeted audiences likes to hear. So do that and gain a decent size of followers. Then start updating your offers through Twitter, between your normal tweets. haven't had too much luck with it but as taylor pointed out, it can be a great took to commuicating with your clients. Since every single one of your clients may not be a follower, it's not the most efficient way either.

twitter can't hurt really, just another way of getting your company known.

I use it quite a bit as well and don't see much in the way of direct results, but getting your name out there can't hurt.
