Thread: Is this normal?

So being on Keto has opened my eyes to the real roller coaster effect carbs put your body on throughout the day. I guess we just get so used to it we dont notice it until its gone. However I have noticed that if I eat more than 3 grams of non fiber carbs in one meal I get an insulin spike. Is this normal? Examples include broccoli and bratwurst. Bratwurst has 2 grams and the broccolli ...

No I dont Note though I said in one meal, not over the day.

Posting in another thread I have realized something - it isnt carbs you have in a day with your macros, like we are taught about protein and such when weightlifting, blood sugar is an hourly thing. If I dont eat carbs all day, and then eat 20-30 grams of carbs in one sitting which by macro thinking I would be allowed to do, I would get thrown out.

Posting in another thread I have realized something - it isnt carbs you have in a day with your macros, like we are taught about protein and such when weightlifting, blood sugar is an hourly thing. If I dont eat carbs all day, and then eat 20-30 grams of carbs in one sitting which by macro thinking I would be allowed to do, I would get thrown out.
