Thread: Is there a trick to Leon and Yuffie? (Spoilers)

Thanks you very much. I play a caster heavy character so I can't really close into Yuffie before her heal happens but I'll just have to try harder.

I've read the FAQ and have done everything the guide says to do. Leon doesn't WALK at me he flat out runs, he's always up Yuffie's ass if she gets stunned and she uses her Greased Lightning each time I reflect a shuriken back at her. My attacks don't interrupt the heal either, still goes through. I've tried Sonic Blading it, normal hitting and even Blizarra. Do they behave differently at Expert ...

Leon should sometimes walk, sometimes run. I've heard he always runs in the Final Mix, so if you have that version you're in for a harder battle. In that case you may want to hold of completing this challenge until you've gotten more levels. If not, then I don't know what's going on. Yuffie shouldn't always react with Greased Lightning and hitting her with the keyblade should interrupt her ...

No this is just a really old version we had before I found a Ps2 in a pawn shop. I do my best to lure him really far away while deflecting shurikens then once he's at one end and yuffies on the other I stun her and dodge roll over to her and after the second hit she does her little happy dance and throws her giant blue tampon at me and he's right up my ass with his super "I believe I can fly" ...

I don't bother to lure Squall away. Yuffie keeps jumping away from me, so by just following her I usually get some good distance anyway. It could be that Squall runs because you got to far away from him.

Ah hah! Take that! I hit level 41 and came back and wiped the floor with em. Then again I just stood back and spammed Fira at their fat FACES but it still worked with my walking talking Goofy-Ether.

You thought this was hard? Try facing them with Sora alone, without deflecting their attacks.
