Thread: Is the Golden Age Of Matched Betting Over?

This is more a question to the old board stalwarts really.
I'm guessing that matched betting has been around for about 4 years now, maybe even earlier, as Betfair was formed in June 2000.
But i'd like to know what things were like in the good old days as i'm fairly new to this.
Were there a lot less t&c and better offers back then?
Or are there more accounts and cash back sites ...
I think MB'ing is definately more 'Risky' in todays climate. There have been several bookies closing or reported as being in trouble in the last 12 months, so I am much more wary of where I deposit. As long as you take care to heed any warnings from here, and research on SBR and the like for latest updates, you should be ok.
And when the credit crunch is over, I gua-ran-tee that bookies will ...
Is it that time of the year already...
How anyone can ask this when in the last week we've been handed around £200of sign ups and reloads is beyond me.

and jsut as a side note............Matched betting over? ha! not a chance! how on earth would they entice new customers? sure by ffering better odds maybe but in the grand scheme of things from how i see it even mug punters must be looking for the best free bet offer
