It should still be called a Christmas Tree in my opinion. The political correctness in this country is getting to be so ridiculous, especially around Christmastime i noticed. His birth is not a holiday, but a celebration.Boo hoo somebody said Christmas, not season's greetings or happy holidays.

I think he just keeps getting dumber and dumber. I cant believe Beshear is even running in 2011. Who would be dumb enough to vote for him? It will always be Merry Christmas to me and I dont care who I make mad.

Jesus was born in the spring supposedly, they simply said it was Dec. 25 to gain converts. Happy Holidays is the most accurate thing to say given how many people are celebrating this time of year. There are more people who celebrate the birth...

I say Merry Christmas and if someone doesn't like it they can close their ears!!!! I love this time of year...it's my favorite....I'm the one who starts decorating the first week of November...LOL....when does everyone start decorating?
Merry Christmas wrote: <quoted text> There are more people who celebrate the birth of Christ then all other religions combined. If you want to say happy holidays that's fine it's a free country. But don't tell me I have to say happy holidays and not Merry Christmas. If you don't like it don't reply when some one says Merry Christmas. Agreed. Thus why is she so upset he said happy ...
Merry Christmas wrote: And yes it is a Christmas Tree, or you can simply call it an evergreen, but it has never been refered to as a happy holiday tree. Eh, I've heard Holiday tree. I typically associate the evergreen with Christmas though you're right. Don't really know why he seems to be bending to my wants. I'm an atheist but I still love Xmas lol. Never really took offense to "...

That's just silly...

I wonder if they are just confused and are trying to 'find' something to satisfy them in some way. I also know some atheist that don't go for any of that sort of thing. See where I am? I guess some thing will be reveled to me...

Course, I guess if the PC nut cases have their way, we will soon be celebrating "Season's Greetings Day". It is Christmas Day and we have a Christmas tree. Get over it. Wonder how many of those who are offended by Christmas will go to work in leau of the paid holiday??? Employers paying for their employees' day...

I think I got lost here. so there changing a bloody name of a tree on a peice of paper even though there not forcing you to call it by another name, or change in any way to tradition. Even though there letting you to do whatever you want plus not making a big deal about those who don't call it holiday tree. yet, You guys are fussing about the name even though its not...

Judged: 1 1 We are not trying to exclude any one or any religion. On the contrary, we simply wish to INCLUDE everyone. You guys seem to be the ones who want to exclude everyone who is not Christian. We want to include everyone, with everyone INCLUDING Christians. I think the only people I'd wish to exclude are ignorant people who hate people who are not like them.

PFG wrote: <quoted text> For example? Go back and read the posts and comments for yourself. It is too early in the morning for me to do it. I have had people tell me, personally, that they are atheist and then continue the conversation by saying they had a seance, went ghost hunting, had pre-cognition,'felt' the Earth Mother, and so on. To me that sounds like spiritualism and a bit if Wicca. When I stated such, I was...
Judged: 1 CHRISTians DO INCLUDE EVERYONE when we say Merry Christmas. I think you're being a little unrealistic if you think I'm going to ask everyone what religion they are before I wish them a Merry CHRISTmas. SSSSShheeesh. Do something productive with your life already.
