I voted for the four servers. I'm assuming the only difference here is 13 vs 4. Although real world i/o is a big problem and the atom will do better there.

Sometimes, you have forget recovery of the dues from such customers. We have had a bad experience with a customer who won't pay for the dedicated server and when we stopped his server for non-payment, he says he won't pay bcoz we stopped the server. How ridiculous!!!!

I like SolusVM. Also used VDS Manager which is also very good. And Tried out VePortal a while back. They are all good. HyperVM is losing it's popularity though.
Just tell him that there is a £30 fee to transfer the domain since the account is past due and "locked". Why should you be left with the bill?
You should only be paying the following: Income Tax: about 22% or your income. Class 2 NI: a fixed amount whether you make a profit or loss. Class 4 NI: about 8% of your income. If you are paying more than you believe you should do, contact your accountant so they can check out your accounts.

I don't believe in "best time" to launch a company. As long as you have a solid business/marketing plan anytime should be a good time. Initially business maybe slow, but don't give up - hang in there and before you know it you'll be getting constant signups. Just make sure you have a plan to handle the growth which is crucial, as you don't want service to be affected. Good luck!
It all depends on your target market and the forum/website that you may be posting your offer to. Different demographic/psychographic/geographic markets have varied buying behavior which should be taken into consideration.
Seeing the trend of shared hosting business, I think a lot of serious web site owners will be migrating to VPS, so setting up a VPS service is always a good idea. You need to do your research first before opening a VPS service, one thing you should know well is to support your VPS clients when things goes wrong. Going into the VPS business is entirely different from shared hosting, your technical skills must be well tuned so that you can...
