Thread: Is a Sound City 6 speaker cab rare?

as far as i know, they only made 6x10 speaker cabs for guitar.

This may be a noobish question, but whatever. I have a Sound city bass cab that has 6 speakers. I wanted to find some reviews of it on the internet, but when I searched for it, i couldn't find any. I looked on Sound City's website, but I couldnt find any info on a 6 speaker bass cab. The closest thing I could find is a 6x10 guitar cab, but I don't the one I have is a guitar cab, or else I probably would have blown it by now....

IMO, any original piece of gear from Sound City that is in good condition is rare.

With sound city, there was not a whole lot of difference between "guitar" and "bass" cabinets. Some of them were labelled "bass" or "lead", but were in fact the exact same cabinet, with same speakers! If its a Sound City 6x10, it was sold as a guitar cabinet. If it works for bass, then more power to ya.
