I tend to stray away from companies who try to bash a competitor's product as a way to boast their own.

lol, lately Apple's ads towards Microsoft have been the same as their customers are towards Microsoft, Hostile.

Making your competitor look bad does nothing to make you look good. If Apple wants me as a customer, they need to give me a compelling reason to switch, not attack my current choice.

Apple is a brand. Windows isn't, at least not like Apple is. Apple's isn't losing customers or appeal whether PCs are superior or not anytime soon. I know several mac people with below average computer skills and disposable income who are constantly upgrading "I really like my macbook and am thinking about getting a macbook pro." "You don't know how to use the macbook." "OMG ...

I'm hearing that win7 isn't spurring the hardware upgrade demand many box makers were hoping for. However, I know a lot of people that have purchased a copy themselves. Guess if your rig can survive Vista, it'll kick ass with 7.

Setting the whole argument aside I really hope you aren't actively driving while reading and posting... I hope you mean you're at least sitting at a red light waiting for a train or something. You may not realize how much it affects your driving but it does, a ton, no matter how good you think you are.

Most of the texting was done at the drive through tax office, some at wendys, some at wellsfargo. just easier to say driving than explain that. not like im sitting here writing a novel at 50mph lol. And now im back in the office

No operating system is secure, attached to a network- dialers, port scans, pings- any system can be compromised given enough time and enough computing power- brute force is getting pretty brutal when you have banks of super computers to access, either legitimately or an army of zombie bots- Some hackers, very few, do it for the intellectual high, the bragging rights to show their ability to overcome flaws in any system- But much hacking now...
