Thread: Invisible Ghost (1941)

Has anyone around here seen this one? It was part of the horror movie set i bought on DVD a while back, and up til last night the disc was being stubborn so i had to hold this one off. This is one hell of a strange blend of a movie, and for that alone worth a watch. On the one hand, it is very well shot, with some great sweeping camera shots, and good lighting. It also has Bela Lugosi ...

I haven't actually seen the movie, but here's an interesting fact about it: There's an avant-garde filmmaker named Martin Arnold who digitally removed all the actors from the film gradually, as the film progresses, removing one and then the other until it's just the camera moving around the sets. He only let it play in museums, though, so very hard to see. -
