Adrian Flux for me, ive been with them for years. They always beat whatever best quote i manage to come up with each year. Along with the companies listed above i'd also try A-Plan, Chris Knott and Noel Dazey then speak to Adrain Flux and get them to beat your best quote.

Get yourself a copy of any performance(tuning) car magazine like Maxpower or Performance VW and there's loads in the back. Specifically for VAG cars, I'd call these company's last in this order:Brentacre, Greenlight then AdrianFlux. Brentacre specialises in modified Veedubs, but I guess they should cater for Audi's aswell these days, and their policies are pretty comprehensive in detailing ...

Elephant/Admiral/Bell (all same co.) cover modified cars, although they only repair your car back to base spec - which might not be appropriate. What they do have is a fully interactive quote website which allows you to pick from about 20 different types of mods and then recalculate the premium. So even if you don't get your insurance with them it's a chance to play around and work out ah,...
