Thread: Insurance Payment! What Should I Get?

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by gmarsh
Just received a windfall insurance payment that was NOT expected...I got $1000.00 burning a hole in my pocket. What should I get to augment my P226 and P229, both in 9mm? Something in a shiny .45ACP is what I'm leaning to...for general use.

Maybe a folded slide 220 or a 245. The 245 is smaller than your 229, packs a punch with JHP rounds, and looks damn cool! Plus it has a folded slide too!

220 ST Elite, either the carry or the regular version. I would prefer the carry size as it balances better for me. Absolutely fantastic guns. Ed

The obvious answer based on the number of fanboys in this Sig forum is: three Glocks .

1911. My German P220 is sweet, and a P220 Elite would be sweet, but personally the 1911's are sweeter.

That can be a car, your house, an old student loan, and especially any credit cards that still have a balance. Now, if you're one of the lucky few who is debt free, or you just can't resist, I think the Dan Wesson...
