Thread: Inspection stickers

Started 3 months, 1 week ago by Janipoo
Anybody know where I can go to get our cars inspected? I just called Sears and they don't do it. My daughter needs to take her drivers test and the vehicle needs one. BTW, I am in Berkeley County. Thanks!

Most gas stations with maintenance depots have people that can perform inspections. Just go to any gas station and look for a sign that says "Official West Virginia Vehicle Inspection Station." They are everywhere.

Thanks for the quick response. That has been our problem we never seen anyone advertise for the stickers. We weren't sure if we needed them. I found a dealership to do it.

Wonder why Sears doesn't do it. In PA, the Sears repair shops do the state inspections (mechanical and emissions). Maybe the Sears you went to is a TBO (tires, batteries, oil) only facility.

Look for a blue sign displayed either on the building or pole that reads "Licensed West Virginia Inspection Station" (or something to that effect) There is an inspection station on Rt.9 heading into Martinsburg from Falling Waters, located about where Heffle Motors is (behind the dealership). I can't remember the name of the shop off hand, but I can get it if you need it.

Threerun, The shop you are referring to might be Martinsburg auto.
