Been up since just before 5, and been awake since at least 4. Blingin' insomnia!!! Anyway, after a shower, a lot of coffee, and catching up on some fly tying orders, I still had (and have) a while before work, so I decided to go annoy the reloading...
Groove diameter doesn\'t not make for chambering problems. However, if the groove diameter is \'off\', maybe some other parameter is also. If you have a full-legth resizer, (and if you don\'t, you should get one), you should FL resize all your brass to start with. Even if you intend to neck-resize only, at some point you are almost assuredly going to have chambering problems if you neck-size ...
What gitano said. Kombi has had problems with Highland brass too in his 9.3. Having said that I use Highland brass for all my reloading except for my .22 Hornet and it is great. Lasts longer than any othe brass and is half the price. And their factory ammo is the most accurate .308 and .223 that I have ever used. My .308 is a Savage 99, lever actions are not know for their ...
Advice taken and actioned, and yep, bang on!!! So now the brass has been full length resized, it will still be all good for another 3 or 4 neck sizings I assume?

You will need to get a case trimmer too. I use the Lee trimmer / gauge. They are very cheap but you will need one for every cartridge you load for. I trim all my cases to the minimum size before I start to load them. Just part of my case prep. There is probably no need to do this though. Not for a few firings anyway. What is your load for your 7/08?
Quote: You will need to get a case trimmer too aware of that one, but will have to wait a payday or two. Got a set of callipers to measure case length, and if a case gets too close to the max before I have a trimmer, it\'ll have to go sit in the corner for a bit. Quote: What is your load for your 7/08? nothing yet!!! No priming ...

As far as goats go, I\'d love to do something lighter, but tight funds due to only just purchasing all my gear, lack of split second access to a firing range to sight in any major load changes, and the fact I only...
