Thread: In what folder are SM2 passwords stored?

Hi all, In what folder are SM2 passwords\forms stored? I know in previous versions they had either a ".S" or ".W" extension. I copied my bookmarks and passwords from SM1.1.18 and the bookmarks are OK; it's just the passwords I need to copy\paste.

The format of the SM2 password file is of the same type as Firefox, i.e. signon.txt (I got three such files. If you know about the other files, you should be able to find the folder. It is: C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\SeaMonkey\Profiles\ xxxxxx.default. The passwords were in the .s file in 1.1.x. Hi Westside, Quote: No way to import passwords and user names from previous versions. Well now isn't that just lovely! The more I use SM2, the more I think the Moz team are rejects from M$. I mean seriously, if they want us to upgrade from 1.x to 2.0, you'd think that being able to import your stuff from 1.x to 2.0 would be part of the ...

I have no problem with SM2.0 password, as I developed separately from SM1.1.x (or even earlier). Only a newcomer would try to import from a previous version. But, I must admit that the developers did a lousy job.
