Thread: In The Shadows ...

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by Lloydy
... Blocked shadows ? Detail all gone ? Never mind. Got an image which has lot's of shadow ? Post it here. It might be that the subject is silhouetted, or it might be that a shadow is a dominant part of the image. Would love to see them. No rules - just have fun. Cheers. http://images-2.redbubble.net/img/art/size:xlarge/ view:main/1935617-3-the-bike.jpg http://images-2.redbubble.net/img/art...

... You have some truly wonderful images. Here, I like the bathtub most. Why ? Not sure, but I think it is excellent. Cheers.

... Still, the eyes are sparkling, and the intent behind the image is clear. Sometimes, I think we can get too caught up in the technicalities, to appreciate the art. I like it. Cheers.

... If you have PS, try using the Patch Tool, for the larger areas. You can then do some fine tuning with the Clone and Color Brush tools. I tried it on your image and it worked quite well. Very small size to play with though. Cheers.

Thanks Dave, that means a lot to me. Well now all I have to do is get rid of those blotches on the "big" image. At first I thought I could easily clone them out .... yeah... the graduation in the sky makes it hard but now I will try again thanks again

Fun idea Dave, especially when we all seem to focus on every detail being visible in every shot. Certainly desirable to be sure, but not necessarily an iron-clad rule. Here's my miss. rick http://i422.photobucket.com/albums/pp307/arichard/100_0495.jpg
