The schools where I live have already taken all the machines out in the area and WILL NOT replace them even with nutrional products The vendors and the schools have really taken a beating monetary wise.I guess they feel they gotta do what has to be done.........IMF

The problem gets complicated when you deal with contracts and different vendors. My old high school had a school store run my the marketing classes (sold candy, chips, non-soda bevs, etc.) which came under fire as being in competition with the cafeteria. None of it had to do with health, however. That said, I ate a lot more candy in high school due to the presence of that store, lol.

The problem gets complicated when you deal with contracts and different vendors. My old high school had a school store run my the marketing classes (sold candy, chips, non-soda bevs, etc.) which came under fire as being in competition with the cafeteria. None of it had to do with health, however. That said, I ate a lot more candy in high school due to the presence of that store, lol.
