Thread: Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus

While it will probably only be remembered as Heath ledger's last film, the movie looks stunning, and probably has the usual zaniness that Terry Gilliam is famous for. You either love his stuff, or hate it, and I guess this time it's been smacked arouond by the critics about the story being confusing. I don't know yet, but I'll definitely go see it. Good or bad, no one makes films like Terry ...

Plenty of eye candy, for certain. The pictures are really striking. I guess the critics are saying the movie needed work in telling the story, and that it skips around a lot, and was hard to follow. Like I said, it's either something you'll like or hate.

Watching the trailer, it looks like they did a great job of working in Heath's "replacements." It looks like it was planned all along and won't bring the movie down.

I was lucky to see the film at a festival and let me tell you it's good. The first 30 mins. are kinda boring but the last 90 mins. are awesome. The visuals in this movie are amazing. I thought Johnny Depp was the better Tony between Collin Farrall and Jude Law. Everyone's going to be talking about it's Heath's last film but Christopher Plummer stoled the show. He did an amazing job. There's Oscar...
