Thread: I'm trying to flush the radiator in my 2003 Chevrolet Impala, but I don't know what hose to cut? - Yahoo! Answers

Started 2 months ago by Matthew T
I bought a Prestone flush and fill kit to flush out my coolant system in my car, but I don't know where the heater inlet hose is. This is the hose that needs to be cut to install the TEE to connect your garden hose to backflush the coolant out of the radiator cap. I don't want to take a gamble on which hose to cut. Thanks.

The TEE is usually sized for the hose that is supposed to be cut.

There will be 2 hoses going/coming out of the firewall usually on the passenger side.. They are the size of garden or washer hoses. Usually the top in the in hose and the bottom is the out bound. I don't think it matters which one you use, but since they say inlet use the top one.
