Hello, I was wondering if anyone here ever had kidney problems? I have been having kidney pain for a while (it's getting so bad I have to lay down)and have been telling my PCP and he did order a blood test and it came back normal for my creatine levels. However, from what I read on the net the test was not done as it should have been. What I read is that one needs to fast for at least ...

You may want to ask them to check your Kidneys through a cat scan with dye to see if maybe there is or isn't a stone in there. I would ask them to do the test over if it in fact, was done wrong. They need to check your BUN Levels as well as Creatinine. Kara

I too have right upper quadrant pain that is mainly on the back side where my right kidney is located. It all began 5 months ago after a hydrodistention and developing a staff infection in my bladder. I have been running a low grade fever, decreased appetite, and I feel like I have been punched repeatedly in my back on the right side. I am due again for another hydro. but as my ic symptoms ...

I too have this pain, I had a bad UTI years back and I got this pain for about a year afterwards then it went away one day. Then I got another really bad UTI and the pain came back, always worse with a flare, it in what I am told is my kidney, I had a whole lot of tests and was told repeatedly it was stones but even after having a procedure to remover the stones 3x they never found any stones, I...
