sign with the Mets? If you were a veteran player with a no trade clause (to the Mets) in your contract, would you waive it at this point in time? I wouldn't. Don't get me wrong- I will always be a Met fan, no matter what. But, I would avoid this Mets franchise right now because....the Wilpons control it. They have- time and time again proven themselves to be among the most inept owners in ...
It's true that the Mets are easy targets and there's a lot of piling-on among the members of the media (especially ESPN, and particularly those homers on Baseball Tonight). However, there is a reasonable rationale for this article by Davidoff: 'O'Day, in an interview Thursday, admitted to not being at his best in his brief Mets stint, saying: "I don't think I was ever entirely comfortable ...
My dream offseason is this: First move: trade Castillo to shed more payroll. Sign Hudson immediately for clubhouse stability, and to add more pop and youth and sturdiness to the 2 hole of the lineup. Announce Fernando Martinez as the new centerfielder and move Beltran to left. Sign Washburn Sign Nick Johnson This wont happen, but Its feasable, and I think its within our cost limit still....
Martinez looked totally overmatched by big league pitching in 91 AB. In 2008, Daniel Murphy, from whom nobody expected much, hit .313 in 131 AB. 29 games isn't a large enough sample to make any declarations about F-Mart, but he showed very little in his cup of coffee with the big team. That, combined with his chronic injuries, makes me very unenthusiastic about his future as a Met. I'd ...
In 2010, is Reyes going to be able to use his legs again like in the past few seasons? If he can't steal bases, leg out triples, etc. he won't be nearly as valuable to the lineup. I hope that in the offseason, his leg gets completely healed and won't continue being problematic.
I generally use Firefox, but often have problems posting from there. I get a message about a loop and cookies. When I switch to IE, the problem goes away. Both browsers have at times been slow here.

When installing make sure you include the k-meleon loader component (it will be the one checkbox not checked by default). Hope this helps ...

Right now, at this moment in time, Molina is a good signing. The mets aren't looking for a long-term solution in Molina, they are looking for a quality year and maybe two from him. Molina right now is a very consistent bat who hasn't had any serious injuries. He is a winner and knows how to lead a successful rotation.
