Pekovics ability to come over next season also makes Jefferson more expendable. He replicates most of what Jefferson does. And while he likely wont come in and immediately replace jeffersons production, he would fill the same role. Could Jefferson Net us Cole aldrich+? Theres just a lot of ways this team could go.

Watched Rubio today. Anyone who is thinking about trading him is thinking too much. Kahn has to keep him. Seeing him play with Navarro its not far-fetched to see why Flynn (or Wall for sure) could play the 2 on offense with Ricky. I love the way Ricky sees the floor and gets rid of the ball so quickly in advantageous spots for his teammates. He makes crisp passes in traffic that most players can't make with tons of room. that doesnt work... good luck convincing Rubio to come here with Flynn and Wall. You cant tell him "oh we are gonna trade Flynn to open up a spot for you, so dont worry" that shows our team as being unloyal and why would Rubio want any part of that? Plus we have Ricky, he is our guy, we do not need Wall (Rubio has the potential to be better than Wall anyways). Trade the #1 pick down to the 3 spot for example (assuming Ed Davis is the...

Narf, you forgot one thing about what Ricky has said before as well...  Ricky said he doesn't care where he plays but that he wants to get good minutes.  If you're suggesting we keep Flynn and Wall while keeping Ricky, I think that's asking for Ricky to be up in arms unless you've settled in with Wall being strictly a SG.

Hate to be negative nancy... But you guys seem pretty confident that Rubio will be playing here in 2 years.   I think he will be here in 2 years.  Kahn's already on record as calling Rubio a transformational player, and saying he unless they're getting an elite talent in return (naming players like Wade and Kobe), he's not going to be the guy who traded Ricky (before knowing what we have with him).  Ricky has never come out...

The other guy I love is Xavier Henry and I dont need to say much more, you will all know what I'm talking about when the season is over.  Who does he compare to?  Reading Ford's description they say Paul Peirce, but sounds more like a taller Mayo.

If we get the chance to draft Wall and he's as good as many believe he'll be (another Derrick Rose or better), then drafting him isn't a problem at all.  There are all sorts of things you can do after drafting him.  As others have said, if it really is a problem, it's a nice problem to have.  Before anyone dismisses the possibility of Wall playing some SG, we'll have to see how he does this season at Kentucky and...
