Thread: If No "Dambusters", what could be made?

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by BSG-75
Following on from the latest Dambusters thread, there was a suggestion to start a new one with ideas for previously "Unknown" or "Unmade" stories. So far we had Amiens raid & Copenhagen Gestapo raid. Ladies and Gentlemen, start your wish list.....

Has Hans von Werra's story ever been filmed? If so it must have been years ago and I have no recollection of it. Perhaps it was not widely released. It is certainly a great story.

The Battle of Kursk. Another Stalingrad film, perhaps tracing a Russian family's life during the conflict? Mind you, that is hardly an unknown conflict. Maybe something about the Blitzkrieg from a civilian's perspective?
