I think it's natural to feel like you do- You want to turn your anger somewhere- and the easiest place is to aim it at the person without a face. Your gf was a willing particpant in this, and beating up the stanger she cheated with won't negate her actions- it won't make things better. I think the better solution to your problem is to break up with your gf.

It won't help any. Leave her and forget about him. Girls who cheat are extremely manipulative.. who knows what story she told him.. if he even knew about you... or how she told him you treat her..
