shooting those guys sounds a bit harsh. I've done that a few times with my car. if you have a set of tires that you don't care about, it's actually really fun. you just have to know how to use the clutch well so you don't roast it. at least he's not doing in in the snow/ice when it would cause rust. One of my very first lessons in driving a stick shift was to go drifting on a huge gravel...

In the late 60's and into the late 70's BMW began finally winning European races using the 2800 and later 3.0CS coupes...the racers used lightweight aluminum panels for the doors, roof, hood, etc to gain an advantage and when customers expressed interest, BMW built 3 series of Lightweight cars for the general market....each more 'racy' than the next...there were 169 of the CSL's made for ...

yes as stated, a CSL doesnt need to be a 'bat mobile' to be a CSL. My friends dad had one that was B35 powered. Schrick cam, limited slip, 16" staggered Alpinas, Fjord Blue, 5 speed, CSL bucket seats (which you can see in the photo if you know what to look for). The aluminum panels, no sound insulation, etc made these cars what they were. The sounds that B35 made with the tuned exhaust ...
