Hi I am pretty sure this part refers to an impending will ie someone has died already and you are waiting for proceeds or legacy. You or the OR have no way of knowing when any person leaving you money will die, and in your mother's case it will hopefully be man years after your discharge when it will be yours anyway. I think it probably means if someone has died and the will has already come into effect - eg for example if there is someone living in the house but it reverts to you when they also pass on, or if the house is waiting to be sold and the proceeds split between the beneficiaries.
