kenne, Why would the makers of the bait bus site be afraid of accusations of so-called "illegal solicitation"? The whole porn movie industry is based on this notion, and I don't see mass arrests therein.

I grant you that being willingly blindfolded in a stranger's van might not be the brightest thing to do. But I doubt that from a legal perspective, you lose all rights. Escepially in the views of local governments, that are eager to strike any blow they can, against porn. And such local governments are not uncommon in the USA.
