that??

Ummm....so what class is best if I wanna dual-wield 2 scythes?? a Ranger specializing in using two weapons?? Or are there other classes that can hold 2 scythes better then a ranger can?? Frenzied Berserker? Yeah, I'm basically doing this just for the cool factor....I'll even name my character Santa Teresa just to fit the image of holding two scythes. (the name means praying mantis in some ...
Being a dual wield ranger won't help in the slightest, and I don't think any of the normal two weapon training feats will work at all for your mission- except monkey grip of course. I think your best bet would be a fighter taking all the Scythe weapon feats you can get your hands on.
I can understand the image thing. However, this is a terrible idea. When dual-wielding, the off-hand weapons needs to be light to minimize the attack penalty. You can do it with a large weapon, but it is not recommended. Honestly, Monkey Grip is best if you want to use a shield with that greatsword or halberd.
Damn....so the ONLY reason to get monkey grip is...just for people to carry a shield and a two handed weapon on the other hand?? What is Monkey Grip REALLY for anyways?? I know it lets me hold two two handed weapons.... But...but...can you imagine anything cooler then holding two scythes....besided growing a few extra pairs of arms and holding four more scythes...
Become a fighter. You need quite a few feats to make this efficient. Monkey Grip will allow you to do this. Get all the two weapon fighting feats. Get all the weapon focus and weapon specialization (makes up for the penalties). If you want, you can improve your criticals with Power Critical and Improved Critical (you have a scythe, what's not to like about criticals?). Since you need a lot of ...
I'd probably go with something like Ranger 11/Fighter8/Shadowdancer1 (assuming OC levels) if I was going to do this. That way you don't have to worry about Dex, and can just pump Strength. Get all the focus feats (weapon focus Scythe, Greater weapon focus Scythe) with your fighter levels. Ranger will allow you to dual wield without pumping Dex (go 2-handed ranger route). Shadowdancer's Hide in ...
Damn....so the ONLY reason to get monkey grip is...just for people to carry a shield and a two handed weapon on the other hand?? What is Monkey Grip REALLY for anyways?? I know it lets me hold two two handed weapons.... Pretty much. It's most useful for a class like Stormlord, where you have to get WF Spear if you're going melee and all your bonuses go towards spear, a 2 handed weapon. Your ...
Yeah, I'm basically doing this just for the cool factor....I'll even name my character Santa Teresa just to fit the image of holding two scythes. (the name means praying mantis in some random european language I think) Ummm... "Santa" is Spanish for Saint, that is, Saint Teresa, aka Mother Teresa of Calcutta (Indian Nobel peace prize winner). I don't know about you, but I don't see a whole lot ...
"Ummm... "Santa" is Spanish for Saint, that is, Saint Teresa, aka Mother Teresa of Calcutta (Indian Nobel peace prize winner). I don't know about you, but I don't see a whole lot of 'cool factor' in an old, peace-loving nun from India. >.>" Wait, what!?!? REALLY!?!? I'm positive that Santa Teresa means "Praying Mantis"....in some weird european language...heres solid proof. http://www....
I see.....so the key to making this work is genrally Fighter and usually combined with Weapon Master.... Hmmm, since I dont have the expansion pack, I dont have the Genasi race to choose. I guess Human would be the best choice I guess. Nor do I have Tempest...thats a class right?? Maybe I should buy the expansion pack and actually play it.....I havent bought any games in a long time since I got hooked on Touhou. And only found interest in this...

So....the Santa Teresa really mean Saint Teresa or praying mantis? Yes, it really means Saint Teresa. But, as gryphonmaster said, and as you learned from Bleach, the mantis is sometimes associated with Saint Teresa due to the bug's religious/meditative posture (therefore the name praying mantis).
