Thread: I think this guys defense was the best ever

The Art of Defensive Boxing [yt] This guys was the best in my opinion. I know there are some other great defensive fighters but Sweet Pea was on a whole different level.

From all the best specialist defensive fighters he was the best overall fighter IMO. Meaning not only did he have some of the best defensive moves you will see but he also had world class offensive capabilities and skills. For just straight up defensive ability I think Locche would be on par with the best guys I have seen on film..though his overall game is not as good as Pea....

Whitaker seems to get the love on these forums, but Wilfred Benitez deserves a mention to. Whitaker Benitez Locche Pep all great defensive fighters.
