On cancellation of your visa a six months work ban is implemented automatically. Under this ban you still are able to obtain a tourist/visit visa or work at any Free Zones. But at Free Zones only.
You even signed that you received a ban!?! when you signed the cancellation paper for your labor card and the receipt of receiving the end of service benefits.
Sorry, NOC can not be demanded ...

, if you have master Degree ,or professional degree then you remove the ban only on payment of AED 1500 to 2500 . when you find a job then ask to company the ban removal is my responsibility.
