28 hours. Quit the game at set 18 with around 15 lives after I got the legendary high score.

Because it wasn't possible witht he engine they were using and t would have taken another 3-5 months to alter the engine. This wouldn't have worked out as they had a deadline to meet. Besides, matchmaking would suck hard, think of all the unstable connections, lag, quitting and griefers who would be playing. High scores and long lasting games just wouldn't happen.
