I've just started uni, and I hate it too
Basically... everyone seems really confident from day 1, and taqlk away... yet, they all seem to ignore me, in whatever I say.
This has lead to me sitting in my room most nights, watching DVDs or on the computer
your place sounds so much like the building i live in. Big window with grey frames nice but cramped kitchen etc...it sounds like the spitting image of my place its so strange.... maybe we are neighbours....

You'll meet people off your course when you get into the swing of it and others around campus. When you're put together with a load of randoms it's hard to get along with them all. I lived with a load of sluts and racists.
Over the next few weeks different people will mix in and you'll be fine.

Seems nothing changes though.
I moved away from home at almost 16 back in 1961, not for uni of course but for a government 5 year apprenticeship when i lived in a ministry of technoloy hostel.

Was it all worth the hassle?
