Thread: I hate pg-13 horror movies.

Especially the ones that tell you literally the whole story in the trailer. If I ever start referring to these as the best days of my life, remind me to kill myself.

I agree. I was actually pretty excited about the movie when I saw the poster in my theater about 2-3 months ago. It's a simple, yet chilling poster. Then I saw Sean from Nip/Tuck was the star... What about Drag Me to Hell? That was PG-13 and probably the best scary movie made since The Blair Witch Project. I have a message for Germany...

1. The Blair Witch Project sucked. 2. It was made by Sam Raimi who made horror movies in the 1980s' called The Evil Dead, The Evil Dead 2, and Army of Darkness (which is more of a comedy). Check them out, they're all deserving masterpieces. 3. The cast for DMTH didn't consist of 2 Hollister (example) models and a popular actor from Nip/Tuck. 4. Drag Me To Hell wasn't a remake. To each their own on Blair Witch. But the point I was trying to make with Drag Me To Hell was that it's unfair to say that EVERY scary movie that gets a PG-13 movie will suck because the audiences I saw it with all freaked the hell out at choice moments. I've been a fan of Raimi's since I was 6 and saw Darkman on NBC and have a great appreciation of all the films he does (horror, drama or ...

To each their own on Blair Witch. But the point I was trying to make with Drag Me To Hell was that it's unfair to say that EVERY scary movie that gets a PG-13 movie will suck because the audiences I saw it with all freaked the hell out at choice moments.
