But I am still hating them. decided to give it another week. The ones I dislike are china made. The Vietnam one (organic) is much softer and the velcro is stronger... I have a love/hate relationship with them. For many reasons they are my favorites - they look adorable on, very trim, it's easy to change out the insert and reuse the cover. But I did have to replace the velcro recently (although this seems to be true with almost any velcro diaper), and the snap indents are annoying (but not so different from sock indents, or jeans indents...). If I were handier I would convert them to snaps and sew soft...

You may be tightening them too tight, your only supposed to put the velcro where it lands, that will help with the red marks. As for the shoddy velcro, I have the both kinds and the laundry diaper chains are miserable, but I haven't had a problem with them on the baby/kid. But both kids wear clothes too, so maybe thats why.

I'm sorry you are having trouble with them mama. When I first got my g's I think I would have given up if not for the yahoo gdiapers group - those mamas on there know their stuff and gave me tons of helpful advice. I would definitely contact the company as well, they are really responsive. What size are the g's? How much does your LO weigh?

Check the tags. Are they made in China? Those have been known to have shoddy velcro. I have the ones made in Vietnam and they hold up well, although I'm not incredibly in love with gdiapers. They need to come out with a toddler size. You can contact the company for more help, but keep in mind that not every diaper fits every baby perfectly.

I do! i agree with PP that they should be put on loosely, and yes, the velcro in some batches isn't great. i like them for when we go out and use the flushies or when LO goes to nana's house. but as far as our stash, I don't use them much at home anymore because there are more CDs that do hold up better. i'm guessing if they are smart, the company will come up with a snap version soon.
