Thread: I got bit by a cat. -- LiveWire Teen Forums

My friend from work caught a cat behind the store and I took her home. She bit me, hard, on the finger. It drew blood. I was petting her head through the cage. I'm pretty sure she bit me cause she was scared. Now it's kinda swollen and throbbing. I don't believe it had rabies, but do you think I should go to a doctor anyways or just pour some more peroxide and bandage it and call it a day?...

don't bother to go to a doc unless it becomes infected. disinfect, then wrap.

Try the peroxide for now. If it is very swollen n the morning it is time to go to the doctor.

Go to the ER for some IV antibiotics. Cat bites can really fuck you up. The infection spreads fast and is usually aggressive.
