Thread: I burned audio format songs to data cd but my cd player won't play the music. But if it's mp3 it works.? - Yahoo!...

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by kelly
So I bought a mp3 convert system and I converted all my audio format songs to mp3 and I burned them through window media player. I would like to know if i'm doing a right way...I haven't played my cd yet cuz it's at work. So is there anyway to find out if the cd I just burned is in mp3 format or is it just another data cd that won't play in my mp3 cd player?

I think you're confusing disc format with file format. An audio CD is the only one that plays on a CD player, even if the files are .MP3.

You may take a look at this step by step guide, it will teach you how to burn songs to CD to make a playback Audio CD, it's easy to understand and works pretty well for me. http://www.freedvdripper.net/how-to-burn… Hope it helps, email me if you need further help.
