I have already changed the airfilter to a k&n and im just trying to make better gas mileage of my 12 mpg. I bought the truck w. a superchip set on performance but the previous owner lost the controler. my wallet is empty from paying for gas.

you have a 1500 with an 8100? ok, anyways, should just have to pull the coil wire off and change the plug. or you have to pull the coil off and the plug sits underneath them.
