Yep, I use it on Vista x64. Works like a charm. I love the program; it's saved from a very serious registry infection a time or two (ones that ...

Windows Defender is okay, but lacks live protection. I use it from time to time.
Windows Firewall ...
i use spybot search and destroy aswell as ad aware se personal.both work great on my 64 bit system.i generally run them once a week directly after one another.make sure you update them first.if one fails to pick up an undesiarable, the other catches it.couldnt ask for much more as they are both free ....ok,just ran that bazooka programe,it detected ''systemDir.explorer, and system.regedit'' ideas...
So how would you guys rate malwarebytes anti-malware?? i use it on my XP x64 and its working great for me except i cant right-click and item and scan that single item or folder which is annoying when you want to make sure that downloaded files are safe
holy thread revival!
i think malwarebytes kinda looks to the registry more than executable files. i use it and its great! i've used it to clean many machines.
sweet, you wouldn't happen to know anything about the right click menu to scan now type thing?? i had it on my 32bit OS but for some reason it wont show up on x64
and yeah i thought i would dig up some peoples pasts
i'll look into it now, dont think i've ever tried i'll try on my 64-bit os now but i didnt think you could do that in 32-bit either. actually you prolly could scan a folder, but not a file.
lemme see i'll get back
Additional Comment:
nah i dont get a scan with option with mbam on 64-bit (windows 7). dont get it on 32-bit xp either? hmm
Cheers, just making the switch to Vista Ultimate 64 now so this has saved me a few quid :-) Running Win7 64 on a dual boot and it's looking really good! Much quicker than I expected.

UAC is a joke, and an annoying one, too. 'Nough said.

The OP said he didn't want to post where he got this info from but did not cover his tracks very well. Quote: All this information sourced from another site, for respect reasons I will not mention it here as it will look like advertising but if you wish to find out more information about x64 bit software or if you have any questions then just reply to the topic. Like I said though it is good info.
