Hi
In Device Manager are there any Yellow ! Marks by any devices apart from LAN/Network if so what?
Did you also install the Chipset driver? as that one is generally needed to allow items like the LAN driver to be installed correctly.
Could attach a log from Everest as that will give us some hardware info like Chipset so we can help you

I am having major issues with my ibm
After 4 hours i decided to ask for help
I installed all drivers from the cd, everything goes but the ethernet controller
Im using xp home edition
