I would just put them in a dry frying pan and shake them over medium low heat until they are good and hot. You don't have to add butter, but don't walk away or they will burn. Taste for salt before you add any. Or you could just spread them on a pan and roast them in the oven until you think they are safely heated. Good luck.

You are just out of luck. Suck it up and just eat them, don't buy them from an open air market again.

I live in China and bought a bag of roasted peanuts (already out of the shell) and 2 things make me wnat to clean them : 1) it's very VERy dirty here and I bought them from a huge bag in an open air market 2) the guy used his very dirty hands to scoop them out of the bag. I was just wondering how I can clean them and cook them? Maybe on the stove with some butter and salt? any ideas?
