Thread: How to change IP/Subnet mask for E-LAN interface

Started 9 months, 3 weeks ago by pjevnisek
We're running a couple of older 25.30 release M1's and I would like to change the subnet mask on one of the interfaces. I've gone through LD 117 and run the CHG MASK command to change the subnet mask. However when I go to LD 137 and run STAT ELNK the subnetmask field remains unchanged. What am I doing wrong? Also, how can I change the IP address?

In LD 117, perform PRT MASK. Verify it is what you set it to. You can also try the command UPDATE DBS. In older releases you had to do that to commit changes made in LD 117. War Eagle! Lions Baseball '09!

On the older releases you had to disable the elnk in ld 137 and reenable for the changes to take effect. Signature========================================= == www.greatwhitetechnologies.com Aastra Authorized Reseller

Disabling and re-enabling the elnk and updating the database worked. Thanks for everyone's help. Peter
