My neighbour is a claiming social welfare benefits such as rent allowance, one parents family allowance, and all the other associated benefits. This would be fine, if she was not living with her partner (who works full time) and that they sold their house (in another eu country) and moved wholesale back to ireland. The lady is an irish citizen, but has not contributed to the Irish tax system ...

If you hope not to be identified, I hope your name is not a reflection of your posting name!! You may want to add a few paragraphs into your post to make it more readable Quote: What I want to know is if I give this persons full name, address, dob and her partners full name, address, the partners dob, the partners place of work address and position. Their car ...

You can forward any details you have to the Dept of Social and Family Affairs, who will carry out an investigation.

Welfarite replied 3 months, 2 weeks ago
Report it anonymously giving all the details you know. It will be investigated fully and the more info. you supply, the better chance of a successful prosecution. (As an aside, I cannot understand how so many posters have stories such as yours and yet hesitate to report them to the authorities, instead posting here and asking for 'advice'. I always wonder what is the real reason? Testing ...

It doesn't apply to Jobseekers payments, if that's what you're asking. More information here: http://www.dsfa.ie/EN/Publications/S...oIqualify.a spx

Fuel allowance is paid to long-term recipients of Jobseeker's - not to those who have just signed on.

Depends on kind of the personal information that this social welfare inspector was asking about you and the nature of information that the inspector also disclosed to your neighbour about you. If the inspector identified themselves as a social welfare inspector and disclosed that you were claiming welfare or disclosed other certain personal information, that was inappropriate. Information can be disclosed directly or implied - for instance...

I was in and out of work with illness for a period of nearly four years and when I finally had no option but to resign on medical grounds --I called the HR department and got my P45.(Within a few weeks) I know what it is like being "On the sick" and I also hate the stigma that goes with it . I would also suggest that a reference of work(Punctuality, work ethic, ability to get on with people etc) for possible future...

No way can your residence be assessed as a 'non-cash benefit'. If that were the case, everybody would be assessed as such! Never have I heard of a car being assessed this way either. I have heard of cases where people were driving top-of-the-range Mercs and they could not be disallowed because of that. It sounds liek the SWI has a serious problem with you personally and is going thru every hoop to try and stop you getting your...

Mortgage interest relief You need to be very careful on this as my understanding is that you are only eligible if you could have afforded the mortgage originally. I think you would be better off doing the money makeover for advice as your post here is very long and therefore difficult to understand. Also maybe you could do different threads on the different issues you have, it might make it easier to get advice that way.. Instead of sending...
