OK, because I love posting these pics- we did the orange to yellow jump, no problem: 2 weeks, 8lbs: 6 weeks, 11 lbs (squeezed in the oranges still): Probably around the same time:

i would def have about 36. my little guy pees and poops all the time! the first couple of weeks it seemed like he wouldnt stop pooping. even washing every other day we went through more than 12 a day, lol

I'd say to go with Little lions infants. GMD oranges dont fit very long at all. MY DS was 8lbs when he came home and they barely went around him, so it made it very hard to snappi.

Re: How many will I need? I bught 36 LL infant green edged pf. I didn't need that many and could have gotten 24 but I like having them around, I took one that was a little more quilted and used for a burp cloth and a few for cleaning purposes. He is almost 4 months now and we are still using them with more room still for him to grow.

Re: How many will I need? We had 3doz GMD oranges for our 8lb7oz nb. They lasted about 3.5 wks (I made them fit until 10.5lbs). Yellows or infants will work for nbs if you don't mind bulk. I don't like bulk on a nb, so I bought the 3doz oranges when GMD had seconds available. FWIW, I did laundry every 1.5 days b/c DS used 18-22 dipes/day, so my 36 oranges only lasted 1.5 days b4 I had to start laundry (so I didn't run out b4...
