Thread: How do you change rocker box gasket on 1998 vectra

hi just changed mine today take the leads out 10 bolts on top take out and the cover just comes of first tho theres a plug in switch on left take metel clip of it just pulls out then pull the conection up then just take the rubber seal out and the new one just gose in you get 10 new rbber seals for were the bolts go threw change them aswell make sure cover and metel is dry befor replacing i put a bit of gasket sealer on aswell works a treat...

If its had gasket sealant on previously try not to let any small bits of it drop into the engine when removing,i made this mistake and blocked the oil pickup pipe in the sump but luckily no harm was done,apart from that its straight forward as already said above
