Thread: How do the O's prevent another collapse

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by kidrock10
How can the orioles prevent their annual second half collapse: - Talent? - Conditioning? - Coaching? - Attitude? - Pitching? - Hitting? - Defense? - Fan Enthusiam? I'm just thinking out loud here.

"Talent?" Bit out-of-the-box, but it could work.

Everything above fan enthusiasm.

I'd go for "talent," if that talent includes durability. If the Orioles can get through a season with four of the five starting pitchers they start it with, they'd probably have a pretty good year.

Talent....I'm just not sure here 3PO. I mean small ball, intangibles, "clutch" hitting, and clubhouse presence are pretty powerful. Maybe we could make a Oriole magic video and sing a really cool song. Lineup protection and pitching around those really good hitters on the other teams could work as well.

The O's need to stay the course they've been on since AM took over. Keep loading up the farm system and grow the talent.
