Thread: How do I deal with this License Issue?

Started 2 months, 2 weeks ago by sdmusicmaker
We have a sbs2000 which acts as a TS license server. I want to add a new windows 2003 member server as the new TS and not use the sbs2000. Can I add the 2003 server TS license server to the domain as a license server? DO I have to turn something off on the SBS2000 before I make the 2003 server a license server? thanks, sd

Reason being you are planning to move your TS from Windows Server 2000 to Windows Server 2003. For accessing Windows Server 2003 TS, you need Windows Server 2003 TS CALs and that can only be installed on Windows ...
