How does the other guy feel? Can you talk to him about how you feel and maybe reach an agreement together based on what you both want/ I think it is great that you met some one, however, bear in mind that you have only had one date and some times people tend to be like a 'super them' when they first date, it takes a while to get to know some one.

Personally , id tell him what you feel , where the harm in it , the worst he can do is tell you he doesnt have feelings for you , which u would get over it true , good luck xx

I think you should tell him how you feel and I hope he feels the same way. If it went so well then maybe he would be willing to keep in touch with you while you are in france and get together when you get back from france. Love is so powerful and rarely comes by, so when it does take the chance and risk everything you have to keep it. Best of luck.
